After finishing his Bachelors in Biophysics from Panjab University, India , Pranav came to Groningen in 2007 to start his Top Masters degree program in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. It took him some time to adjust to the Dutch teaching style, but he admits that it has been a great learning experience. The University provides a stimulating research environment and has a great team of scientists to work with for your research career. Motivated by that he started his PhD in the department of Biochemistry at the Zernike campus. So far it has been an exciting journey and his fun time with science still continues. The university also has an excellent sport infrastructure available at very reasonable price to the students. Groningen, being a student city has a great social life. Various student organisations and student sports clubs contribute to the quality time that one can have after study hours.
