About stuying in Groningen
My first visit to Groningen was in 2010 for a short trip lasting only two days. At once I was impressed by the warm nature of the people and the easy going style of life. During that trip I also had the possibility to hear that the University of Groningen reflects the very life of Groningen.
Almost one year later, I was trying to find a university and a scholarship for my master studies and to my delight I had the possibility to apply also to Groningen. It goes without saying that the people that communicated with me were very kind and it immediately reminded me of the good time I spent there. The city is green throughout the year and biking makes it even more interesting.
The social life is also very lively and living in student houses makes it international and very colorful. It is strange to be surrounded by people from different nationalities, but in the end this makes the experience even more enjoyable. As an advice, I would suggest visiting the market, Vismarkt, and enjoying kibbeling with a beer.
My LLM Program in International and Comparative Private Law is unique with a rare combination of topics. Also, the flexibility to choose optional courses makes this program appealing to those who want to improve their skills in private law and still be able to take company law or European law classes.
