Internationalisation

Public health is always and everywhere a local phenomenon that takes place within and shapes a global context. This means that international exchange between researchers but also between policymakers is crucial in order to continuously learn from experiences elsewhere and to share the insights we develop in the Northern Netherlands with the world.

At the AJSPH, in line with the University of the North, we are committed to regional internationalization with a special role for knowledge institutions as knowledge pipelines to other regions. We choose to link up with the existing strategic partners and networks of the parent organizations. In collaboration with these partners and networks, the AJSPH contributes to making the public health part concrete.
