Symposium 'Towards Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease'

On Wednesday 26 June 2019, the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health and the Department of Cardiology, UMCG are organising a symposium. During this symposium you will get insights in epidemiological research of the Framingham Heart Study, we will talk about how to do genetic research and we will give examples on how to work with Lifelines.
During this symposium our keynote speaker prof. dr. Emelia J. Benjamin, a distinguished professor of the University of Groningen, will talk about 'Atrial fibrillation research in Framingham Heart Study'.
Besides the keynote there will be four 10 minute rapid fire presentations and one 30 minute presentation by prof. dr. Renate Schnabel on how to bring the research back to the clinic.
