The Centre for Landscape Studies of the University of Groningen studies Dutch and European cultural landscapes, its aims including applying its knowledge and sharing it with municipalities and nature conservation organizations. Professor of Landscape History Theo Spek explains how the knowledge centre contributes to the public debate.

The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
