The Anatomy Lesson

05 December 2012

The University Museum in the city centre of Groningen has interesting exhibitions, as well as a number of special collections, such as the anatomical and pathological collection of the former Anatomical Museum in Groningen, previously displayed in the anatomical theatre dating from 1615. The private collections of Petrus Camper and Pieter de Riemer form the basis of the museum’s collection. In 2004 the University Museum’s medical collection was extended with collections from the former Academic Hospital Groningen.

The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
