Aarts, Prof. Kees

Kees Aarts is Professor of Political Institutions and Behaviour at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. Aarts is a member of the referendum committee of the province of Groningen. His specialization lies in the area of voting behaviour and democratic processes. He conducts research into the interaction between political systems and the influence of residents. In addition to his academic activities, Aarts often gives his opinion on current political developments.
