The UG lustrum has come to an end! Enjoy a few photos of all the festivities.

Our rector magnificus Jacquelien Scherpen opened the lustrum week, which was followed by a bake-off in front of the Academy Building. Some 25 bakers presented their cake to a jury including Inge Sikkens (contestant of 'Heel Holland Bakt') who picked the winning cake.

Wednesday the field day took place on Zernike Campus, where employees and students could participate in a volleyball tournament and try out exciting sports. In the evening was the Festival of Imagination at the Stadsschouwburg.

Thursday afternoon, students from different cultural backgrounds participated in the Making Connections Lunch. In the evening, 40 teams of students and staff competed for honors during the pub quiz.

On Friday, four honorary doctorates were awarded to Dr. Kate Crawford, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, Ir. Gerrit Hiemstra and Prof. Dr. Mariana Mazzucato. In the evening it was time for the big party at the Sugar Factory. The lustrum ended on Saturday with a bicycle ride and the Alumni Day.
