Older people need to feel at home in their neighbourhood
People continue to live independently for longer and longer. But are neighbourhoods and society as a whole ready for this? What are the effects on a living environment of having many older residents with limited mobility? PhD student Debbie Lager says that we should adjust out neighbourhoods and our behaviour to give older adults a sense of belonging. And this doesn't have to be difficult at all.
